With the arrival of spring everything comes to life and babies begin coming into the world.  They are being born, leaving the egg, hatching. A foursome of eggs are about to crack through their eggshells. However, one of them is rather strange. A deviation? An error? A fault? Is being different a curse or a gift? Or both?

This play, based on the classic story about a little bird who has to cope with looking differently than the others after its birth. The poor fledgling is ridiculed and despised. Will it manage to overcome all this injustice? Will it find its place in the world? If so, perhaps the deserved reward will come, too…
